Ed Griffin-Nolan, LMT
Ed founded The Art of Massage in 1997. A graduate of SUNY Albany and the Finger Lakes School of Massage, he is the author of several books and a monthly column and the father of three children. Ed has taken advanced training in trigger point therapy and sports massage. He is currently completing his certification in Orthopedic Massage at the Orthopedic Massage and Research Institute. He offers relaxation and sports massage as well as rehabilitation and pain management for accident victims. He is a member of the Advisory Board of the Massage Therapy program at SUNY Morrisville, a member of the Advisory Committee of the Syracuse University Department of Wellness Studies, and a marathon coach for the Leukemia’s and Lymphoma Society’s Team in Training. He is also fluent in Spanish, to assist our clients for whom Spanish is their preferred language.

Diana Sponsler, LMT
Diana is a graduate of Bowling Green State University in Ohio, holds an MBA from Pepperdine University, and most recently graduated as valedictorian from the Onondaga School of Therapeutic Massage. She is a mother of two children, a “reformed” computer specialist and is thoroughly enjoying her career change and working with everyone at the Art of Massage. She has completed continuing education in Hot Stone Massage.

Tim Bryant, LMT
Tim, a Brooklyn native, graduated from the Onondaga School of Therapeutic Massage in 2001 and moved back to his home town soon after graduation. He began his career as a massage therapist working for several high end spas in Manhattan, learning a variety of treatment modalities. He moved back to the Syracuse area in 2005, when he began working at The Art of Massage.
Tim has studied the ancient art of Indonesian Jamuy Masage and Hot Stone therapy. Over the years he has developed an interest in helping individuals to overcome the experiences of trauma and/or grief and removing emotional blockages through touch therapy. Tim sits on the Consumer Advisory Committee Boards for New York State’s Department of Health as well as the SUNY Upstate Medical Center.
