QWhat should I wear?
A You can wear whatever you like. During your massage, you can wear loose fitting clothing, just under pants or shorts, or be completely disrobed. The choice is yours. You will be alone in a private room as you change or disrobe, and when the therapist enters the room you will be already on the massage table and covered neck to toe by a sheet and/or blanket. Our licensed massage therapists can give you a relaxing, therapeutic massage while you are fully disrobed, fully clothed, or anywhere in between. Wear whatever makes you most comfortable.

QWhat are the different types of massage?
A Relaxation/Stress Reduction
Our typical relaxation massage begins in a warm and quiet room, where you lie face down on a soft and comfortable massage table, with sheets and a blanket over you, moist heat packs on your back, and a small pillow under your ankles to make your feet more comfortable. Soft music plays in the background.

The therapist will work on your legs, back, neck and shoulders to loosen up tight areas and stretch muscles as needed. He or she will not initiate conversation except to ask you once or twice about the pressure to insure your comfort. If you wish to converse, or have any questions to ask, you should feel free to speak up. Most people prefer to quietly enjoy the relaxing effects of the massage and the music. Oil or lotion are used as lubrication for the skin - you can choose which you prefer.

The final twenty minutes of a relaxation massage are generally spent with the client face up, as the therapist works the legs and arms, hands, face, and feet. Feel free to let your therapist know if any particular areas are in need of work.

Hot Stone Massage
Try Hot Stone Massage to experience deep relaxation like you’ve never felt before. Our licensed therapists Dina, Tim, and Diana are specially trained to help you relax and ease stress away beneath a blanket of hot stones.

Stress reduction
Daily living in modern society causes a multitude of stresses. Traumatic events, life changes, hard times, deadlines, can all add to the accumulation of stress in our bodies. Often times we are not even aware of how our muscles become host to the stress in our lives.

A relaxing massage can help make you aware of where your body is holding stress, and how you can keep it from building up. We call massage a "body over mind" experience, where you develop an awareness of postures, habits, and events that tend to make your muscles tight and ache.

By relieving tension in the muscles, you will find that you are able to think more clearly, feel more energy, and enjoy life to the fullest. That's why we make this promise: "Come See Us, You'll Feel Better."

Sports Massage
Athletes often need special massage to help prepare for an event or to recover from strenuous activity. Prior to competition, the therapist will work to loosen stiff joints, work knots out of muscles, and to help you relax into just the right "zone" for peak performance.

Post-event massage helps to cleanse the muscles of toxins accumulated during competition and to assess muscle tone for any possible injuries. High-endurance athletes such as marathon runners generally derive the most benefit from post-event massage two days after competition.

Pregnancy Massage
The aches and pains associated with pregnancy can be relieved through massage. Our specially trained therapists have a pregnancy table with a cut away section designed to fit your evolving form. Most women find the relief of being able to lay comfortably on their stomach as much relief as the massage itself.

Geriatric
Shiatsu
Shiatsu is the modern descendent of Asian massage which works to release energy (chi) from areas of the body where it has become trapped. All of our therapists are trained in shiatsu, but we do not consider ourselves specialists in the field. Our orientation is more toward the Western concept of the body.
